Halloween Fun!

Preschool Party ~ The kids all got to wear their costumes to school. During the last 45 minutes of class, parents arrived and helped out with the Halloween party. Ava dressed up as a pink poodle and called herself KiKi.. a pink poodle on Clifford.

Here is Ava picking out beads to put on her spider legs. I don’t know if it was a coincidence but she picked out exactly eight pink beads!

Carving Pumpkins ~ Ava didn’t really care for the smell of the pumpkins so she didn’t really participate in the carving and cleaning. But she did tell me what shape to carve for her “punkman’s” eyes, nose, and mouth.

I was busy preparing seeds for baking so Scott decided to help carve my pumpkin!

Trick-or-Treating ~ Max came over to trick-or-treat with Ava. They were so cute together and Max was very patient. Ava took her time walking up to doors, Max patiently waited. Ava stopped to pick up leaves, Max patiently waited. After getting candy, Ava would ask people if she could pet their dog, Max patiently waited. Ava dropped her baby leaf on someone’s porch, Ava wouldn’t walk away until she found it.. Max patiently waited.

I got a candy! Very cute!

    Thanks for the post guys.

PS – Scott, put your fancy power tools away. Real men carve pumpkins with a rusty pocket knife!

Yea Scott….that’s cheating! Did you get a bucket truck to scoop out the insides? They were certainly precision cut pumpkins!

Ava you did such a good job “trick – or- treating! What fun to watch! Hope you and Max got lots of candy.

PS Beacon loved his homemade dog treats!
