Ava has been dancing since she was 7 months, but now she’s a singer and a dancer!  Her favorite songs to sing are La Bamba by I don’t know who – Richie Valli?  and Hello Goodbye by the Beatles.  I tried to capture it on video but no such luck.  We have a children’s CD that we listen to all day!  It’s about an hour long and after the last song plays Ava runs to the CD player and starts pushing the buttons to turn it back on.

Well here we are in 2008. 2007 was a good year, hopefully this one will be too.

Recapping some events in 2007:

Ava was born
Sawyer, our nephew was born
Aylin, our adorable niece was born
We bought a new house and moved
Jenn has transformed into an excellent stay-at-home Mom
We sold Jenn’s car and got her a Honda CR-V
Scott got his pilot license (Sport Pilot) and a powered parachute aircraft

All in all, it was a busy year. Jenn, Ava, Farley and I all stayed healthy. We are enjoying Ava more every day as she gets more ability and independence. I’m looking forward to this year because we won’t have to work so hard getting ready to sell our house like we did last summer. Hopefully we can just relax a bit and enjoy it.
