Our new daughter Annalise was born last night about 9:25 PM. Both her and Mom are doing well. We’re so excited to finally meet her!

Getting weighed and measured. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 10 oz.

Scott and I were both so proud of our little aviator that we both created a blog about it (I wrote one while Ava rested, and Scott created it at work)! Enjoy reading it from two perspectives!

Last week Ava asked if she could go flying for the first time with me. Jenn and I thought about it and decided if we could safely get her car seat secured to the airframe, and if Ava still wanted to go, that we would give it a try. The weather was perfect, about 80 degrees and no wind.

We talked ahead of time and we told Ava that we would go for a short flight for a minute or two around the pattern so she could see if she liked it, then we’d land and talk about it and she could decide if she wanted to go again.
