We had a good weekend, I finished staining the deck. We stained it a
\nlight brown, “Fawn” as Behr calls it. Took almost all of the 5
\ngallons. I also got the sinks replaced in the upstairs bathroom with
\nsome white porcelain sinks and new chrome faucets. And, I replaced
\nall the crappy valves and supply lines for the hot and cold to the
\nsinks. I put in the compression fitting ball valves that I like.
\nNext weekend we’re planning to rip up the carpet in the bathroom and
\nput in some vinyl flooring, and while we’re at it we are going to
\nreplace the toilet with a white one. Slowly we are getting rid of
\nall the 1970’s harvest gold appliances and fixtures that plagued the
\n1970’s. I fired up the lawn mower and got the front lawn mowed but
\nthen it started to rain. This week I am going to be working on the
\nback yard and get some borders in place in preparation for the bark
