One of my favorites: Costco&#8217;s ribeye steak and my famous grilled dijon blackened asparagus. I make a sauce of melter butter mixed with dijon mustard, then spread that over the asparugus spears, cut in half. Then salt and pepper them, then on to the grill.<\/p>\n<p><input width=\"450\" type=\"image\" height=\"338\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottandjenn.com\/wordpress_sj\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/IMG_0444.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the ribeys wih my special rub. I put the rub on about 30 minutes before griling:<\/p>\n<p><input width=\"450\" type=\"image\" height=\"338\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottandjenn.com\/wordpress_sj\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/IMG_0443.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I put the asparagus on about 5 minutes before the meat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottandjenn.com\/wordpress_sj\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/IMG_0442.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then let things cook, watching the temp of the meat closely with the Thermapen thermometer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottandjenn.com\/wordpress_sj\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/IMG_0445.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mmmm&#8230; steaks are almost done.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottandjenn.com\/wordpress_sj\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/IMG_0446.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finally the meat is done and it&#8217;s time to eat. Nothing beats the taste of charcoal grilled food.
